Ever since that first behind-the-scenes-but-actually-just-a-promo video dropped of Superman himself Henry Cavill donning a white wig and showing his dark side as hero Geralt, fans have been desperate for more.
And now, we have it.
Man Of Steel star Cavill has just debuted the animated poster and a sneak peek of himself in full Geralt costume on his Instagram!
The new poster puts Cavill firmly front and centre in the highly anticipated Netflix adaptation of the RPG and book series ‘The Witcher’. It’s great to see Cavill back in action, after his recent effort ‘Justice League’ had a poor reception and his appearance in Mission Impossible: Fallout was mired by moustache-gate (he had to do reshoots for JL while sporting his MI moustache, which had to be removed digitally for his appearance as Superman in the movie). With the future of the Justice League up in the air at the moment, now is a good time for him to branch out and try on a different costume. What’s your preference, Superman’s blue and red? Or Geralt’s black and badass? Geralt gets our vote.
Netflix hasn’t revealed more in the way of news about the show, with the tag simply saying ‘It Begins.’
