Take a look at the stupendous first trailer for Taiki Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit. The director of Thor: Ragnarok made a name for himself with that zany, rock-and-roll space adventure in the Marvel Universe, but we mustn’t forget his breakout, much-loved hit Hunt For The Wilderpeople. You can certainly see a similar indie, lovably off-beat vibe in the trailer for Jojo Rabbit.

The Director himself plays Adolf Hitler, the imaginary friend to Jojo ‘Rabbit’ Betzler, a young boy living in Nazi Germany who is forced to confront the extreme Nationalism around him when his mother gives shelter to a young Jewish girl.

The cast is absolutely incredible – Sam Rockwell, Scarlet Johansson, Stephen Merchant, Rebel Wilson and Taiki Waititi himself.

It’s worth remembering it’s produced by Fox Searchlight, who were behind Oscar winners The Favorite and The Shape Of Water, so Jojo Rabbit could very well be this year’s contender. Check out the trailer below.
